Position Summary

The Office Assistant will be responsible for handling routine office errands, assisting management with administrative tasks, coordinating document deliveries, depositing cheques, making bill payments, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist management and office staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Deliver and collect documents from banks, government offices, vendors, and other external agencies.
  • Maintain records of submitted and collected documents.
  • Deposit cheques and collect bank-related documents as instructed.
  • Assist with cash deposits, cheque pickups, and other routine banking activities.
  • Ensure timely submission of banking and financial documents.
  • Make utility bill payments and other authorized payments on behalf of the company.
  • Coordinate with service providers and vendors regarding routine office requirements.
  • Purchase office supplies and maintain inventory when required.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the office.
  • Support staff with photocopying, scanning, filing, and document management.
  • Handle courier dispatches and receipt of incoming parcels and correspondence.
  • Ensure smooth movement of documents and materials between departments.
  • Assist during company meetings, events, and site visits as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company documents and information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th Pass or Higher Secondary education.
  • Basic reading and writing skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and/or English.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
  • Familiarity with local areas, banks, and government offices in and around Vapi.
